Tesla cut Model Y prices by as much as US$13,000 in January, and the Model Y became the world's best-selling vehicle of 2023 with about 1.2 million deliveries. The refreshed Model 3 was announced on September 1 and Cybertruck deliveries began in November from Giga Texas. In December, after a two-year NHTSA investigation, Tesla recalled all US vehicles with Autosteer for an over-the-air update.
